Melbourne Welcomes 2007…

Happy New Year Everyone.

For those of you who didn’t know, their are other places which have fireworks other than Sydney. Usually televised on Channel Nine, the Sydney fireworks are now on Channel Ten. What Channel Nine done in the past with Melbourne was at midnight cross from the Sydney telecast and have the Melbourne Fireworks, so this year we got both.

The cast from Postcards (Victorian Travel Show) presented the fireworks with Giaan Rooney at Federation Square.

First they was an early fireworks show promoted as a ‘family version’ early for the kids to watch…

Then the official fireworks with Lord Mayor John So, and even with the fireworks coming from a top of the Eureka Tower…

Then of course their were the Sydney Fireworks on Channel Ten…
