The Footy’s Back On Seven In ‘07…
Well tonight we got to see for the first time Seven’s AFL coverage for 2007 after being absent from the game for five years. I will stress that this is only the NAB Cup and so the coverage seen so far from Seven still may be changed in time for Round 1, and of course if this happens I will point the changes out.
Firstly the opening sequence was pretty good, nice and simple, and I must say I liked how the MCG score board was used to display the sponsors at the start.

Personally I think they boy’s need to stick with the traditional black suit and not start with different coloured suits and shirts which nearly blind us all, as well as copying Channel Nine with the station logo pin. One change I have noticed is that it’s no longer Boundary Rider it’s now rather the Field Commentator.

Now for the actual game itself and although you may think its only a footy game nothing much can be different from network to network but its the small things that make all the difference. Firstly the score card is in the bottom left corner instead of the traditional top left corner. What was lacking during the telecast was player stats and information, eventually a few popped up but not very much, this is something they will need to work on before the real season starts, other than that judge for yourself…

P.S. We will ignore the fact that Collingwood lost…

Do you have any high-resolution captures [without blurring] of this image?
