The Chaser’s War - Week 9 - The Ad Road Test…

I don’t know if its just me or not, but once again I didn’t think this episode was any good and would probably go as far as to say tonight’s was the worst yet. The start was a little funny with the donations to the political party’s and confronting the leaders, and when Julian confronted the Mufti again I thought that it would have been good but it was obviously a set-up so that took the appeal away from it a bit.

The highlight of the show was the Ad Road Test where they tested the ASF Insurance ad where they use house bricks as money, so they tried to purchase things with bricks with limited success.

First they tryed their luck at a jewlery store.

Next they tried to exchange bricks to feed the car parking metre.

Then they tried to pay the bus fare with bricks.

Next they went to the bank to try and deposit them into their accounts.

They then thought they might get a beer.

What better why than to pay a busker.

Finally just like in the ad, would they be able to purchase a car with a wheelbarrow of bricks?
