Rove’s 2007 Finale With Kevin Rudd & Bob Brown…

Sunday night was the final episode of Rove for 2007, with no work on whether the show will return or not next year as Rove’s contract comes up for renewal. The feature of the show was the appearance of Kevin Rudd, with John Howard still declining to go onto the show.

Kevin Rudd then came out and had a chat about his view on how other people see him, what he thinks of John Howard and why he decided to come onto the show.

Most people were anticipating what he would say when it came time for the last question on $20 in 20 seconds, “Who would you turn gay for?”.

When it came time to answer he tried his best to avoid it in a jokingly way, however he revealed a list of suggestions from people who write to him. They were Dame Edna, Kel Knight and Brian Strauchan, but in the end he said the only one for him was his wife.

An offer was extended to John Howard which was declined, so to take the challenge of $20 in 20 seconds was Senator Bob Brown, leader of the Greens. Rove however had a lot of questions to ask so he actually got 40 seconds.

Finally all this year I have been a big fan of the Ryan Shelton promo’s for rovedaily.com.au, and this one was one of the best in my opinion.

Sorry that the audio is out of sync…
