Election 2007: The ABC’s Australia Votes 2007…
The ABC’s coverage of the 2007 Election began at 6:00pm with 7:30 Report host Kerry O’Brian, who was joined by deputy leader of the Labor party Julia Gillard and for Liberal Nick Minchin, also ABC analyst Antony Green and 7:30 Report reporter Michael Brissenden.






Tony Jones from the ABC program Lateline was on had to interview key members in marginal seats…




ABC political correspondent Jim Middleton was on hand at Labor Party HQ at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.


Kerry was joined by ABC reporter Leigh Sales from Liberal HQ at the Wentworth Hotel in Sydney.


Looking at the various seats around the country and this example is the seat of Bennelong who Maxine McKew took away from John Howard who held the seat for about three decades.




Tony Jones interviews the former member of Bass from Devonport in Tasmania.

Finally at the end of the night it was a run through of all the seats and their figures and below in the example is my seat of La Trobe which is still undecided at this moment.
