A Sign Of Thing’s To Come?
Today’s Boxing Day Test coverage has seen the re-introduction of the old Wide World of Sports watermark from Nine. In a sign that we may see the new/old logo used station wide as early as January 1st. If Nine went back to its dotty logo on January 1st it would then make sense for them to use the new watermark on this test as it would be consistent with the other three test matches yet to be played in the new year.
The watermark was the only change seen today, the current Wide World of Sports logo was still being used as well as the regular Nine logo on microphones.
As you can see the watermark is the same as the pre 2006 look however it seems to have taken on a more 3D look about it.
