National Nine News Presents: Sir Edmund Hillary - Lord of the Mountains…

Tonight National Nine News aired a special presentation to celebrate the life of the first man to reach the top of Mt Everest, Sir Edmund Hillary. The presentation was hosted by Peter Overton, with special reports from National Nine News Sydney weekend reader Mike Munro, and National Nine News Melbourne reporter Brett McLoud.

The special aired at 6:30pm following the normal news, and featured interviews with Sir Ed’s closest friends, as well as family members.
