The Night Cap…
The Seven Network has started a new show on its High Definition Channel 7HD called The Night Cap. The show can be seen every week on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 10:30pm, but never fear if you don’t have High Definition equipment you can watch the show live on the Internet via http://yahoo7.com.au/nightcap.
The show is hosted by Matt White, who is joined by Jessica Rowe, Paul Murray, Monique Wright and Zach Douglas. The show is broadcasted from the Seven Network’s Martin Place studio using the Seven News national/Sydney news set.
The Night Cap takes a light hearted look at the day’s and week’s events while at the same time having a short serious news bulletin presented by Jessica Rowe.
Some of the issues the show looked at were the controversy surrounding users on Wikipedia debating if Corey Worthington should have a page devoted to him because of his status, and also looking at a web site set-up where you can clap him. Matt White went out into the plaza to see if he could get an ordinary passer by to think he was about to do a live cross for CNN in America and needed someone to pretend they were the Prime Minister.
Also a discussion on some of the advertising techniques used for an art show in Melbourne where they used a word, well you can see from the image below just fill in the blanks. Throughout the show it was also encouraged that people either called in, SMSed or e-mailed any thoughts they had on any topic, giving the show a kind of radio feel about it.

If this works on 7HD, they could show it on 7. Say 10:30pm - 11:15/30pm Monday to Thursday?

There is an incentive needed for viewers to switch to digital.
