Domestic Blitz…
Tonight was the start of a new series on the Nine Network titled Domestic Blitz, riding on the success of that backyard makeover show with a simular name Backyard Blitz; this should prove to be a good program for Nine in this time slot. With Seven’s Gladiators and Ten’s Big Brother aiming at the younger demographic, Domestic Blitz should do well and should help out the dominate 60 Minutes program on Sunday night’s.
Domestic Blitz is hosted by Shelly Craft and Scott Cam who are joined by Matt Leacy (Landscape Designer), Romy Alwill (Interior Designer) and as the apprentice Eric Nanmann.
The crew get around town in there very own Domestic Blitz bus, where they can discuss and view a video about the person who’s home they are about to give a makeover.
Tonight’s episode featured special guests Craig Lowndes from Ford in the V8 Supercars (I obviously know nothing about the V8 Supercars I hope I have that right) and from the Today show Richard Reid showed the family around town and gave them a surprise trip to Disneyland.
Once the makeover is complete, the family is surprised in the usual manner when it comes to these shows with a gathering of family and friends.
Domestic Blitz should prove to be a ratings winner and can be seen on the Nine Network 6:30pm Sunday night’s.

How does someone get the opportunity to be given a Domestic Makeover?
I know someone worthy however, I am not sure if/what the criteria may be.
Kind regards
lisa

I have really enjoyed the Domestic Blitz program and the mix of talent and personality is perfect. Where can we find out about the products used on the show? I was particularly interested in last night’s show and the garden pathways that were created with something that looked like wet sand. I missed the name of it. Grateful if you could advise. We are terrible designers/fixer uppers domestically and it looks like a product that even we could not muck up. I don’t think that being domestically pathetic would make us eligible.
It is such a lovely thing you are doing and brought `happy’ tears to my eyes each time. It must be so rewarding to be able to do this for such worthy recipients.
Thanks so much - I hope you are able to run the program for a long long time.
