The Rich List Returns For Another Season…
Tonight was the return to the Seven Network’s games show The Rich Listed, hosted by Andrew O’Keefe the show has moved from its original timeslot of Monday 7:30pm to Saturday 7:30pm. It is a little striking to return this show which rated very well last year in the Monday slot, to the relatively low rating night of Saturday. However with the latest lot of rating flops on the Nine Network especially with that other game show Power of Ten, it might be a strategic move by Seven knowing that the game show genre could have died in prime time.
The first episode back tonight continued on from where it left off last year with the return of the champions to defend their title. They managed to return and win 2 games and play for another Rich List and winning themselves a total of $160,000 but that is as far as they got.
Te second game produced new champions who have so far won $10,000.
