Eddie’s First Night On A Current Affair…
Tonight Eddie McGuire hosted his first edition of A Current affair in what has been seen as an odd move for a fill-in host, but Eddie was quick to prove he is more than capable of giving this current affairs program a new breath of fresh air.
Eddie got to introduce a range of stories in the usual shonky builder and dodgy council style but what stood out as a point of difference to usual hosts that he added a few quirky remarks of his own at the end of each story.
One of the introductions was for a story on Big Brother contestant David, which was particularly funny as he referred to the low ratings of Big Brother saying “David and his 15 minutes of fame on the reality TV program Big Brother, and like most of Australia you probably didn’t see it.”
The stories covered tonight were and exclusive look at some of Roberta Williams home videos of Carl Williams and family, petrol saving tips (the same tips we have seen in the other 200 petrol related stories), David from Big brother spoke about the Exclusive Brethren, a council forcing residents to pay for a bridge and a woman who wins competitions all the time.
