Last Ditched Attempt? Celebrity Million Dollar Wheel Of Fortune…
Next week Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune will be having a celebrity special which the Nine Network has been discreetly advertising. However it seems that the decision to have a week devoted to celebrity contestants was made at the very last minute or as a snap decision a few days ago, the reasoning for this is because the episodes to screen next week have no yet been recorded.
The episodes will be taped in a four and a half hour session this Saturday 21st June raising the assumption that this celebrity idea has only been thought of recently in a last ditched effort to boost the struggling shows fortunes. Deal or No Deal on the Seven Network is just about doubling the audience share of Wheel.
“Celebrities” to be spinning the wheel are Bert Newton, Kerri-Anne Kennerly, Denise Drysdale, Michala Banas, Dawn Fraser, Livinia Nixon, John Wood, Andrew Gaze, Nicole Livingstone, Rachael Beck and Blair McDonough with any winnings going to charity.
Celebrity Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune starts next week 5:30pm on Nine.
