Helen Kapalos Goes Under The Paint Brush…
Ten News Melbourne presenter Helen Kapalos ditched her news desk this afternoon to help out a charity at Myer’s flagship Bourke Street Mall store by letting artist Anthony Breslin and weather man Mike Larkin paint her.
Normally where Myer present’s its famous Christmas windows display; Kapalos had to stand still for about 30 minutes while the artist went to work with the assistance or Larkin.

The paintings will be auctioned off at the Grey’s Online auction site where the funds will go to charity for the AFL Ladder Project. Other well known personalities to go under the paint brush were Ron Barassi, Molly Meldrum and Vanessa Amorosi.
During the painting Helen was laughing a lot and seemed very uneasy at the thought of her counterpart paining her face with paint saying that the make-up department would have to work overtime. While being painted she had a microphone attached so she could talk to the crowd outside the window, she asked if there were any Kangaroos supporters, as they beat her team Hawthorn over the weekend.
