Private Practice…

Grey’s Anatomy lovers will be pleased to know that the spin off series Private Practice has hit the airwaves on the Seven Network in this nine part series.

Staring Kate Walsh who reprises her role of Addison Montgomery from Grey’s Anatomy leaves her position at Seattle Grace Hospital in an effort to change her life making the move to Los Angeles to work in a Private Practice, hence the title.

In this first episode naturally as the show is a spin off it needs to establish the character in an independent manner, with the first 10 minutes of the episode devoted to establishing her resignation from the Seattle Hospital and then the move to her new home. Once the initial introductions are done in Los Angeles the episode then flows on as if the show has been on for a long period of time which I suppose can only be a good thing.

This show is not my cup of tea but it is in the same style of Grey’s Anatomy so any fan of that series will no doubly enjoy this show too and should prove to be a small hit for Seven. Private Practice can be seen on the Seven Network 8:30pm Sunday Night’s.
