Mark Loves Sharon: A New Low In Australian Television…

Monday night was the start of a brand new series on Network Ten titled Mark Loves Sharon, which meant that Big Brother: Big Mouth was pushed back an extra 30 minutes just incase anyone was looking for where it went. You will recognise two of the main characters from the comedy series The Wedge which screened on the network a while back now.

The show follows the life of serial sport star pest Mark Wary in this mocumentary and as always by his side is his over working media spinning manager Jerry.

The show introduces us to Sharon who is Mark’s girlfriend and is well and truly aware of his bad boy ways, and that he gives all of his female acquittances on the side a male code name within his mobile. Mark’s two best friends who know each other from their schooling days, Sledge and Tomo are always around sponging off Mark.

Simply said avoid this show at all costs, it’s unfunny and frankly a waste of time even bothering to think about, and I dare say that the hopeless programming that it replaced was better. I will admit in a bit of a contradictory statement here that I have found myself having a bit of a snigger at the promo’s this week for next weeks show, but the problem is that the promo only shows the one best part of the whole show.
