The Pope Lands Live On SBS…
As the official broadcaster of World Youth Day, SBS had special live converge of the Popes arrival in Australia as he landed in Sydney on Sunday afternoon.
On the scene SBS had a reporter inside the Popes plane as well as a reporter waiting on the tarmac. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and New South Wales Premier Morris Iemma were present to welcome the Pope, and they all headed inside a building for 5 minutes while a motorcade readied itself.
As the official broadcaster of World Youth Day, all the major attractions can be seen on SBS Television and Radio and the schedule looks like this.
