Monster House Sneaks Back On Nine…
Last night you may have missed the return of the failed Nine Network “comedy” surprise series Monster House which has been pushed way back into the 10:30pm timeslot on Tuesday’s while the Olympic Games on Seven crush the opposition.
If you haven’t seen the show before, and don’t worry not many people have, the show is hosted by Bernard Curry where a made up family called “The Webs” will get an unsuspecting person to come around to there home or business where they basically set them up. With the use of six hidden cameras, the unsuspecting person will be thrown into an uncomfortable situation, usually having to somehow explain there way out of it.
Last time the show aired it was slammed by viewers on receiving about 700,000 viewers and slammed by the readers of What’s On The Tube, including myself after going along to a taping of the show which can be read here.
While the Olympics are on Nine will be wanting to get rid of a few episodes and to increase its Australian content quota for the year, we will no doubly see the rest of this series during the summer no ratings season.
Monster House can be seen on the Nine Network while the Olympic Games are still on, Tuesday night’s at 10:30pm.
