Beijing 2008: Paralympics Coverage – Day 1…
Day one of the Paralympic coverage started on Sunday with coverage hosted by Steve Robilliard on ABC2 with simulating on ABC HD. The main events in the day one coverage consisted of Swimming, Track Cycling and Wheelchair Basketball, with the ABC providing the most extensive coverage of Paralympics anywhere in the world and the most coverage ever seen by any broadcaster.
ABC HD will take a feed from ABC2 when the Paralympics are on, however when normal programming resumes ABC HD will take its feed from ABC1 once again.
Coverage on ABC2/ABC HD starts at 1:00pm daily and concludes at 5:35pm, it will then resume at 7:30pm until 11:00pm when ABC2 closes down for the night.
