Costello Goes Back For Another Dose Of Kerri-Anne…

feature photo

This morning on Morning’s with Kerri-Anne the first guest on the show was former Treasurer of Australia Peter Costello. Some memorable moments have been forged by Kerri-Anne and Costello with previous times the member for Higgins doing the Macarena on Midday and a python looking for some ‘tax relief’ as he put it himself in his pocket.

On this occasion the interview was a little more conservative than what it has been in the past, he spoke about the current government and how it is dealing with the current financial mess we are all facing, as well as any decision by the Reserve Bank to cut interest rates.

Costello also went on to say that there is no excuse for the major banks not to pass on any interest rate cuts in full, because the banks already have a good margin on the current interest rate and if the full cut is not passed on their margins will slowly increase.

The point of the interview though was to spruik his new book, which has already been discounted in many book stores proving unpopular. But the interview couldn’t end without some sort of gimmick, with Kerri-Anne inviting Costello to take part in a word association game. You can watch what happened below.

As it is also a new month, a new poll question is up and running. Last months question asked what new show you were most enjoying, the winner was Hole In The Wall with Packed to the Rafters coming in a close second, a big thank you to everyone who voted. This month a question in response to the new host of Today Tonight Mathew White, asking if he is a suitable host.
