TEN HD To Get A New Footy Show…

It is understood the Network Ten is currently in the planning stages of creating a brand new AFL football discussion show for Monday night’s on its high definition channel Ten HD. Robert Walls is tipped to play a key role in the new show after he stood down from his position on long running Fox Sports AFL show The Couch after seven years of service.
Walls is already a key component to Network Ten’s commentary team and it is believed that the man to take over the position made vacant by Wall’s will be four time premiership coach Leigh Matthews. Matthews recently stood down from his position as Brisbane Lions coach and has finished his broadcasting duties with the Seven Network who employed him over the finals series.
In other football show news, it is also expected that Grant Thomas the former coach of the St Kilda Football Club will take over a position left vacant by Glenn Archer on the Nine Network’s AFL discussion show Footy Classified. Archer is believed to be looking for a new position on the Sunday version of the AFL Footy Show.
