Denis Walter To Take On Those Stormy Charts…

Summer is fast approaching and this means that all of the regular presenters will be off on their holidays soon and this is usually the time of the year for the weekend news presenters to shine. This year from December 1 when Livinia Nixon takes her summer leave from Nine News Melbourne it will be singer and former WIN Television news presenter Denis Walter who comes in to fill the shoes of Nixon.

Walter recently stepped down from his role as WIN Televisions regional news reader to take up the position on radio station 3AW left vacant by Ernie Sigley. Walter will also be a feature on the Nine Network’s Carols By Candlelight presented from the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Nixon is said to be planning a holiday in the New South Wales Hunter Valley region and while there playing in the Jack Newton Celebrity Golf Classic before returning to Melbourne for Christmas and New Years celebrations.
