60 Minutes has been on the Nine Network since 1979 and today is presented by Tara Brown, Liz Hayes, Peter Overton and Liam Bartlett. At the conclusion of each show Peter Harvey has a mailbag segment where viewers can write in to give their point of view from a story shown.

The 2007 election debates were covered by the Nine Network under the 60 Minutes banner, the first one was between Kevin Rudd and John Howard.













The second debate covered by 60 Minutes was between the two men fighting for the treasurers’ job, Peter Costello and Wayne Swan.
