Today at 11:30 Seven broadcasted a special Christmas parade presented by Myer in Melbourne’s Bourke Street Mall. The parade was hosted by Seven News Melbourne presenter’s Peter Mitchell and Jennifer Keyte, along side Sonia Kruger.

Seven’s election coverage started at 8:00am this morning with a special edition of weekend sunrise from Martin Place in Sydney (as per usual).

Today at 2pm the Nine Network, Seven Network and the ABC broke regular programming to bring the live broadcast of Kevin Rudd’s first press conference. National Nine News also broke earlier in the day to bring coverage of Peter Costello not contesting the Liberal Leadership.
