David Reyne will not front the final edition of 9am With David & Kim this Friday with the host falling ill after hosting the show on Monday morning. After four years on air the morning programme will come to and end with an expected revamp in 2010 for the struggling timeslot on Network Ten.
Co-host Kim Watkins also announced last Friday that she will be leaving the show; she will be hosting the programme for the final week with sports presenter Stephen Quartermain.
Network Ten said, “David Reyne is in hospital and is having tests done. Unfortunately he won’t be on the show for the rest of the week.”
