Hayley Lewis named host of The Biggest Loser…
Three time Olympian and five time Gold Medallist at the 1990 Commonwealth Games Hayley Lewis has been revealed as the next host of the Australian version of The Biggest Loser. The host was revealed tonight in Ten News with the supposed exclusive revealing supposed to happen on the 7PM Project later in the night, I guess this was ‘big news’ for Ten.
Lewis has had her own battle with weight and has also been a spokes person for weight loss company Jenny Craig. Talking to Brad McEwen, Lewis said, “I’m excited obviously about being chosen for the role”.
She added, “To be offered the opportunity to be part of this show in such a capacity is just too exciting – I can’t wait to meet the next round of couples and experience first-hand their incredible transformations!”
Network Ten’s Chief Programming Officer, David Mott said, “Hayley is a wonderful advocate for leading a healthy lifestyle and achieving your dreams. Her incredible sporting achievements and legendary determination alongside first-hand experience at tackling weight loss in the past is what stood her out as the perfect candidate to inspire our newly recruited Loser couples.”
The Biggest Loser Couples will return to Network Ten in February 2010.
