The ABC’s Indigenous current affairs programme Message Stick has taken out an award for Outstanding Achievement in Television at the 15th Deadly Awards which recognises the achievements of Indigenous Australians in Music, Sport, the Arts and Community Service.
Message Stick was nominated alongside other programmes Living Black (SBS), Marngrook Footy Show (NITV) and Barefoot Rugby League Show. This is the tenth year Message Stick has been on air with Executive Producer Susan Moylan-Coombs and host Miriam Corowa accepting the award on the shows behalf.
