New look Nine News Morning & Afternoon set…
It seems like we are writing this one up every few months now with the Nine Network launching a brand new set for its national bulletins today. Presented by Wendy Kingston, Nine News’ Morning and Afternoon bulletins have launched the new ratings year with a smart looking set using the newly built TCN Sydney newsroom as the backdrop.
The set uses the same theme as the East Coast 6pm bulletin news sets with dark blues and wooden panels. Gone are the plasma televisions used as backdrops which were just remnants from the Today show where the morning and afternoon news were previously presented from.
The Nine Network now has the best news sets in the country (along the East Coast) with the exception of Adelaide, Perth (owned by WIN Television) and Darwin.
Now for some images to do the talking…

The “best” news sets? Opinionated reporting much?
Andddddd the problem with that would be? This is a blog not a news.com.au publication… oh wait they have that too!
…Damn you and your winning of arguments… (It might have something to do with the fact I am terrible at arguing though…)
Well at least you can say when you are wrong haha
Haha, yes. I guess that is better than *some* people on the internet
Now they just have to change the hideous graphics and it will be perfect!
Oh, have you seen the new 7 News Sydney graphics? Yeah, Nine wins now
haha, just saw it! Wow they are hideous! Seriously, don’t any of these networks know that their graphics are ugly? They could so easily create smart, professional graphics, but they instead choose to use tacky, tabloid-looking ones.
I feel like No one can/will get it right…. It can not be that hard to make something that looks good can it!?
[...] the Seven and Nine Network news bulletins. Before we showed the new look national news set for the Nine Network, but tonight Seven News has also had a graphical update along with a new set in Perth to bring it [...]
WOW! It looks very sleek and high-tec, can you please upload a video of the new look? thanks
easy…. Channel Nine should just revert to their 2005 graphics and rename themselves back to “National Nine News”. Real classy then, and definitely would be the national leader.
