Summer is coming, that means the Cricket is coming to Nine…

The Nine Networks summer of cricket coverage begins this season with an All Star Twenty20 clash between the Australian XI and the ACA (Australian Cricketers Association) All Star team on Sunday November 22. The match will be broadcast live from the Gabba in Brisbane from 7.30pm EDST or 6:30pm local Brisbane time.

The All Star Twenty20 match will showcase the best Twenty20 cricketers in Australia with the All Star team including a return by bowling greats Shane Warne and Glen McGrath. Warne who is also tipped as one of the new hosts for Top Gear Australia when it begins on Nine in 2010 will captain the All Stars with Adam Gilchrist and Matt Hayden also participating in the side.

Coaching both teams will be fast bowler Dennis Lillee who will coach the All Stars while Lillee’s former Australian team-mate and Test captain Greg Chappell, will coach the Australian XI.
